Swiss designer Nicolas le Moigne’s 'Podium' series was first presented at DesignMiami/ Basel 2011 by Martin Rinderknecht. Gallery Libby Sellers has worked with the designer and Rinderknecht to produce the next in the series of works - the High Podium table. In a testament to traditional production techniques Le Moigne has worked in collaboration with skilled Swiss craftsmen to realise the design. The table has been fabricated using various precision systems of rotary motion such as metal spinning and forming.
Since graduating from the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (ECAL) with an MA in Product Design in 2007, le Moigne has exhibited internationally and has worked with leading industry partners including Eternit, Omega and Pfister. He was the recipient of the Swiss Design Award 2008 and the Bourses de la Fondation Leenaards 2009. Le Moigne is currently a professor of Industrial Design at ECAL.
