Following his initial studies in interior design, Adrien Rovero (b. 1981, Switzerland) went on to receive both graduate and post-graduate degrees from the Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ECAL), before establishing his studio in 2006. His work is based on precise observation of user needs combined with a subtle sense of wit, resulting in designs that are both relevant and imaginatively uplifting. His work is exhibited internationally and has won Rovero awards including the Swiss Federal Prize in 2007. HIs work is in the public collections of the Musée National d'Art Moderne/Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris), the Grand Hornu (B) and the Mudac (Lausanne).
