'Branches' is a digitally-generated canopy that holds and reveals light to illuminate the space beneath. Its growth, movement and behavior are continuously directed by both the use of the room and information gathered from externally mounted wind, sun and rain sensors. The installation consists of a projector, computer and the sensors all sympathetically arranged to allow for maximum coverage over the ceiling. The number of projectors is dependent on the scale of the room.
