Maria Cristina Didero (Milan-based curator, author and editor) and Libby Sellers have embarked on a joint project that draws on their extensive network of contacts and friends for a celebration of Christmas.
The duo have invited a wide range of designers to craft Christmas decorations and cards for a short-run, selling show in London in late November. All proceeds raised from the sales will go to the London-based homeless charity Under One Sky.
Confirmed designers include Michael Anastassiades, Anton Alvarez, Max Lamb, Studio Mama, Sabine Marcelis, Philippe Malouin, Martino Gamper, Gala Fernandez, and so many more! With material sponsorship from the Italian paper company Cordenons and a venue generously sponsored by Brompton Design District and South Kensington Estates, all the collaborators including the organisers and designers, are donating their services and talents.
Under One Sky is 100% volunteer based and has supported more than 3000 homeless people in London since 2012. The team walks the streets during cold winter nights to hand out life support packages and lift the spirits of the homeless.
