Simon Hasan has been recognised in the 2014 Wallpaper* Design Awards for his recent collaboration with British luxury brand LINLEY, earning a 'Best Folk' award for his project 'Graft'. Hasan's 5-piece collection for the brand which "combines laser-cut marquetry and aluminium and brass with fumed and stained European eucalyptus to depict the imperfections found in timber", debuted during the London Design Festival 2013. Hasan crafted each piece in LINLEY's workshops.
The award is Hasan's second from the magazine, which also recognised his leather mannequins for FENDI in 2012.
