The exhibition 'Still Subject' by Julie Richoz will feature a selection of twenty objects designed around the idea of motion and will be shown through seven of Galeries Lafayette shop windows during Paris' Designer's Days furniture fair. Richoz explains that her theme for 'Still Subject' does not necessarily mean mobility or movement, but also rhythm and vibration, "even if an object is static, it has within it a certain movement... A curve that draws calmly an outline, or repeating a line can give a piece its tempo ... the objects in form an attitude that brings them to life".
