Fabien Cappello has led a workshop at the University of Art in Toulouse, during which he designed and built the school's cafeteria with six students from the institution.
The brief, defined by Cappello, was to convert the former demonstration area into a functional space through a series of site-specific furnishings. By employing high quality finishes to improve the perception of the space Cappello sought to create a contrast with the "romantic and run down state of the hall".
