Fabien Cappello's HDLF series of outdoor furniture pieces has been included in the 'useful + beautiful' exhibition at the Geffrye Museum, London. The exhibition showcases a selection of designs for the home and garden conceived by leading national and international industry figures and emerging talents.
Cappello's simple and practical range of outdoor furniture was inspired by his experience in South Korea where he had previously participated in a British Council culture-led regeneration project. For this, Cappello had created a series of similar outdoor furniture pieces made from local timber.
HDLF was later commissioned for the Royal College of Art's Design Product Collection which features the very best new design thinking.
