The inaugural ICON Magazine award ceremony in 2012 saw Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin win the Emerging Design Studio of the Year category. The strong shortlist included fellow Design Academy Eindhoven graduates Mischer'Traxler and Philippe Malouin, the London-based studio Glithero and RCA graduate Markus Kayser.
