Nicolas Le Moigne's 'Podium Shelf' has been acquired by the Museum für Gestaltung Zurich for its permanent collection.
For his 2010-2011 'Podium' series - which Gallery Libby Sellers presented in London during Spring 2012 - Le Moigne worked in collaboration with skilled Swiss craftsmen to realise each design in a testament to traditional production techniques. The pieces were fabricated using various precision systems of rotary motion such as wood and stone turning, metal spinning, glass blowing and ceramic throwing.
