Designer Simon Heijdens is featured in ICON's issue 'Digital Poets: London's New Wave of Interaction Designers'. The article describes how Heijdens uses technology to enliven our environment in poetically decorative ways. The installation 'Tree' is highlighted, which projects eight-metre high trees that sway in the wind and loose leaves when a pedestrian passes by. "'Tree' is a fake forest revealing real nature", explains Heijdens. "It amplifies the leftovers of nature in the urban surrounding".
