CRAFTS Magazine has featured Anton Alvarez on the cover of its March/April 2014 issue, and in a 6-page spread within. Grant Gibson, editor of the publication, interviewed Alvarez in advance of 'Wrapper's Delight', a forthcoming solo exhibition of his new works opening at Gallery Libby Sellers in March 2014. "In certain respects, he typifies a new, post-industrial generation of designers - in that he trained in his discipline, is conversant with its history and mores, but wants to escape its conventions," Gibson observes in his article, which describes Alvarez's 'Thread Wrapping Machine' works as "brilliantly colourful" and "extraordinary".
