Newcomer: Julie Richoz profiled by Disegno, February 2013.

Disegno has featured a profile of designer Julie Richoz, winner of the prestigious Design Parade 7 Grand Prix. 

Richoz creates objects that exhibit a playful simplicity but are rigorously executed. As she says about her work, "When I think about an object, I try to find the easiest way to make it because I have to do it myself and I don’t want to use complicated technology or machinery". Having graduated in Industrial Design at ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne, she has worked with clients including Alessi, Nestlé and Sèvres and has participated in exhibitions across Europe and Asia.
