In an article for Yatzer, Kiri Spirou reviews one of Formafantasma's newest collections, 'De Natura Fossilium', an exploration of the relationship between Sicily's volcanoes and the communities surrounding them. In her review of the collection Spirou highlights Formafantasma's approach to the use of volcanic stones and minerals, "both through a study of traditional arts and crafts relating to the rocks found on Etna and Stromboli, as well as through a rigorous research process on contemporary manufacturing techniques this collection pushes volcanic materials to new, exciting extremes", writes Spirou.
