Art critic and curator Nicolas Trembley muses on "the position of the humble vase in its historical context" and features one of Peter Marigold's 2011 'Wooden Forms' vases - cast in bronze utilising a single piece of wood repeatedly repositioned, Peter builds up the form intuitively, producing an amalgam of moments and pieces that are in fact highly animated and not 'wooden' at all.
