An atavistic, boiled leather armchair by Simon Hasan and Poltrona Frau has been featured in Wallpaper* magazine's 'Handmade' issue. Hasan - known for his work with boiled leather in the traditional 'cuir bouilli' technique - has reappropriated an original Poltrona Frau 'Archibald' armchair designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, stripping it back to its metal frame, which he then sanded and waxed before draping it in buckled leather.
